What bloom enhancers do you currently use or have you used in the past? Give them a little review and tell the rest of HGB how they are.

I used BioBizz's Topmax for a few months. It was absolutely awesome to say the least. It is very dark so don't spill it on the carpet. It is also 100% Organic. Very good stuff indeed. When you mix it into your reservoir it don't bump your PPM up much nor does it alter your PH that much. It darkens the water a little but is very clean in the res. I would Highly recomend using it.

I am now using FoxFarms Big Bloom. I just started using it the other day when I changed my res. I have heard good things about it and I am currently using FoxFarms Grow/Bloom nutes as it is so I figured I would give it a shot. First thing I noticed is it is friggen Nastey looking. Makes your reservoir water look like poop water, seriously. If I would have seen someone else use it I would have never bought it just because of the looks. It leaves a nastey sludge in the flood tray and in the bottom of the res. I am not sure yet if it completely dissolves into the water yet but as of day three it hasn't. I have heard to watch my PH with it but will tell you my review later when I harvest and have had a chance to form an opinion on it.

So, what are you using, or have used, Liked or disliked?

I have only tried 2 diffrent ones.1 was awesome blossom by BC and the other is koolbloom by GH which is what i will run this grow also.I didnt perticularly like the BC nutes,It seemed to me that it wasnt as concentrate as the GH[meaning it took more of them to reach ppm levels]but my biggest problem with them was that i didnt have anyone that used them to confide in.

Hi.
I use Canna PK 13/14. The fact that it's pure doesn't make unnoxious, but a good flush about 10 days before harvest and if poss. again at 5 days and that's OK. Their service is lousy: mobile no. in Cuckoo Clock Land and does the guy ring back?! I wanted to ask why their instructions for use are different or at any rate very misleading in Italian to German or French.
So I had to figure out how to use it best on my tod. It's a useful tool: you can provoke regular "waves" of new flowers with it, especially together with a good basic flower fert. I give it over about a week, every 2 days in small doses, when the new flowers have been around for a few days. The idea is to fill out the seed heads of those and get a new spurt of flower heads.
I'm not entirely sure it might not encourage sinlgle male flowers as I almost always have seeds, at least a few to slightly annoying.

I'd like to try something else.

I've recently changed from Foxfarm to Earth Juice Bloom
Too early to speak on results, but the grow will really get the lush greenage going.

I use Canna PK13-14, along with Canna Substra at present. I've also used PK13-14 with pure hydro utilizing Canna Aqua as well, and I've had great results when following the instructions. "BudSwell" is awesome..:D

I bought a foliar fert from Home Hardware celled Natura. It's an organic based fert made from chitosan, fish, kelp etc... It's a 2-1-6 and I use it as a normal fertilizer. I use it to keep nodes short and promote blooms.
This stuff is a great addition to veg and bloom:D

you'll like the results but they get evan better when you also get open sesame you use this 1 week before you flower and 2 weeks after it's 5-45-19 its to triggers early flowering sequence then beastie bloomz for 2 to 3 weeks depends on how long the strains sapose to take to finish and it increses weight of blooms and fruit set along with fortifing the inside of flower buds and its 0-50-30 then there is cha ching and its used the last 4 weeks plus like if the plant takes more than 8 weeks it stimulates heavy essential oil secretions plus maximizes flavor and fragrance it is 9-50-10 i use these 3 and have been getting better results with each new crop as i learn when the plant needs it most these are more for people who've grow a strain before and have been working with it for awhile. but they were an improvement from the bc nutes i use to use i would still recomend them as with a little practice and makeing small changes to the amounts you'll get big tasty buds

Kool-Bloom, works well but has surely been outdated by now, I'm gonna go with some advanced brand stuff I think or maybe some budswell.

Nobodys posted here in a month

Just a Q: Is it possible to use just bloom enhancers (such as peters super bloom 10-50-10) for flowering if you have been giving them nutes all through veg? I know it has some N and not really a high bit of K.... Any idea on what would happen if I mixed a 10-50-10 bloom enhancer with a 10-15-10 liquid nute?

Thanks peeps

I just started my 2 experiments on their 12/12, I'll be using Peters Bloom Booster 10-50-10. I've been feeding them Peters 20-20-20 during veg.

drumin I think I am gonna try the Peters 10-50-10, the only thing is I really dont wanna give em too much more nitrogen in flowering. It says use a teaspoon per gallon of water for house plants, I think I'll try half dose of that to begin with and go from there. ;)

Anyone know of a bloom booster that has little or no nitrogen and more K? I guess 50 is a good amount for P..

Later peeps
