Thought I might go for a grow thread here .....

Cherry Thunderfuck f1 hybrid

These are 3 weeks above ground a hybrid I made that is Cherry Bomb x Maple Leaf Indica/Matanuska Thunderfuck

Sprouted under 80watts of floro lighting, two 4' tubes, cool white 40w each at a height of about 6" from the bulbs.

Here's a good shot of one of them here below...

http://www.homegrownbud.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5348&stc=1&d=1155175702

Here's a good shot from the side where you can see that even under floro lighting, with the help of some potassium, other catalyzing agents, and a fan we are getting a nice set-up for sure :gthumb:

:D Heh heh, you all are too kind; yeah Zen amigo, those Cherry Thunderfucks are really startin' to kick some serious ass now, can't wait to see them in another month or so myself!

Below you can see one of my Blue Rhino 1947 plants still hummin' along in a 3" container under 80watts of floro lighting. I fugged up and accidentally gave this baybee a FULL dose of organic tea about a week ago instead of a 50% ratio and she kinda got wiggly on me for a few days but she's all recovered now and happy as all hell as you can see.

A true testament to growing in Living Soil Organics is apparent by the size of this happy plant in this tiney container.

Just about to take these from under 80w of floro lighting to under my 430w agro HID HPS lamp. These baybees are just about to be too crowded LoL!

Below you can see my favorite four youngsters; I will be topping these later today and taking cuttings from the tops; most of these (both plant pics) will be going into 18/6 under the 430w today later on.

:D OK, these are now into flowering after being topped, and I pruned them up fairly heavily too, prolly removed 1/3rd of their height and ove 1/2 of their mass. They are all trimmed up to 4 or 6 mains and away we go! :gthumb:

http://www.homegrownbud.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5962&stc=1&d=1159140845

I am flowering 4 topped under a 430watt HPS Agro, if they were untopped I would be flowering 6; the one on the far right is the Cherry Thunderfuck female and the other 3 are Blue Rhino 1947

What size pots are those RT?

Blue Rhino, what's that cross? White Rhino and Blueberry?

What's the difference between your pheno A and B?

rolanterroy
09-28-2006, 02:27 PM
drumin mi amigo, those are in 3gallon containers. The Blue Rhino 1947 is a 4-way hybrid cross, it is a Blue Rhino x 1947.

Blue Rhino is in fact a White Rhino x Blueberry.

The 1947 is another f1 hybrid made from Peak 19 x AK47

The two phenotypes that are expressed in the Blue Rhino 1947 are Pheno A and Pheno B, out of 10 females the ratios are about 50/50 pheno A/B...

The differences are only in structure, with pheno B having a more stacked, short internode distance with big phat almost spherical buds. Pheno A has greater node to node distance and stretches a bit more, gets taller by about 20% than phenotype B and has loong fat cylidrical buds. Both phenotypes yield equally per plant, both are same for high potency and same for hightype, legs, flavors, smells etc.

This strain is a REALLY good social smoke, smooth and tasty and very powerful as well without giving the smoker any paranoid feelings whatsoever. She is also a GREAT medical strain for peeps with nerve and/or bone types of pain.

Her flavors are like Blonde Hashish with a subtle floral background; she hits you fast and hard at first, then kinda changes to a much more motivational clearer intensly head and minor body stone. Out of the gate though, for like the first 20 minutes she just wrecks ya mind and body LoL, couchloks ya and leaves you just drooling on yourself, with a big stoopid grin on your face hahaha! Great smoke, one of my faves for a hybrid!

Just thought I would share a couple pics of some of my latest baybees to PoP their heads up above ground! :D

Below, is Thai #1 (Thai x Skunk #1 truebreeding) this baybee is actually an inbred line from Holland, circa 1980's and some of you may remember this kick ass strain; it's still almost legendary amongst many of my old growin bretheren. Big shout out to stoner for donating these wonderful genes to The Magick Kingdom and I only have two of these up now and looking for a killer male, and I will keep PoPPing more until I get one cuz this is an awesome breederstock right here IMO. I will also of course, totally enjoy any fems I get too, cuz they have that wonderous sativa intense hightype I love so much and finish in 9-10 weeks! Heh heh :gthumb:

http://www.homegrownbud.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=6440&stc=1&d=1161831915

Next up below, is my killer Blue Dragon f1 hybrid, I also have two of these baybees above ground now and am looking forward to a female and hopefully a male too. She gets really purple and packs a wonderful hightype as well, very potent! She finishes in 8 weeks.

http://www.homegrownbud.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=6441&stc=1&d=1161831915

A couple others I don't have any pics of yet that are above ground are:

Purple Kush, from some of my bros down round Klamath falls; and, some Poison Javaquake, a deadly all African genotype from The Magick Kingdom.

YaY! I just dig how they look at this age, sooooo damn cute! :p

rolanterroy

Yeah what you see on that plant in the front left is a classic case of overwatering heh heh...

She's the plant in the most fan effected zone, and since she dries out faster than the rest, out of fear I have overwaterd her a tad because she has been found experiencing drought stress twice now by me and so especially now I would take a little overwatering yellowing over drought stress bigtime. My mix is all aerated very well so I have zero fear of drowning the roots or anything like that.

If I let her dry out a little bit she'll green back up to dark green, but that prolly ain't gonna happen cuz I absolutely don't want her stressing from drought again this late in the game!

Heh heh... really appriciate all the kind words! :gthumb:

I use two image proggys, my "workhorse" is ACDSee 6.0 and I use that one to crop, and organize massive high resolution images.

I use Paint Shop Pro 8 to resize, cuz I can use the least amount of compression in order to attain the file size limit easily with this program. I also use PSP8 to border, watermark and if the pic is a tad blurry I can use the "Clarify" command to give it better image clarity, like I was using a greater MegPix cam, cuz the one I use is only 4.0MegPix Olympus. Killer digicam, but I still have to use a tripod to INSURE a clean crisp pic.

I don't really use Photoshop at all, I used to use it years ago, but for my purposes I find the combo of ACDSee & PSP to cover all my bases and still be totally user friendly as well.

Ya know I already have my prospective breeders of the Cherry Thunderfuck all ligned up and she is VERY insane man, serious resin production, wicked potent as I have heard from many many peeps, I as of yet haven't had the pleasure ...but soon! :p

She's an f1 hybrid but I should be able to stabilize her within a few generations, prolly around f4 for all the good stuff cuz all her componant genotypes/strains share very similar and key expressions that are homozygous, so it should be a snap! ;)

But, as she is drying I am noticing a couple VERY *special* things about this girl, her aromas are EXACTLY like Cherry Cream Soda, not kinda, exactly! Plus she really doesn't lose that much weight drying, which is always a big plus to a huge yielder heh heh, I bet she will retain about 30% of her weight wet due to her INSANE resin content, really stunning fellas!

So, when you see a strain up the road here called Cherries n Cream, it will be the Cherry Thunderfuck stabilized/truebreeding and I plan to get to work on it at once, prolly making some f2s within 45 days or so. A very impressive recombination and smells like I have never smelled before, that whole Cherry Cream Soda thing really gets me heh heh.

Absolutely stellar REv sama... Par for the course, once again you've got me feeling like an 8 year old locked in toy store. Been looking forward to this one for a long time.

Cheers and good green mojo...

I'll be more than happy to hook you up with f2s, f3s or the stablized strain my friend, no worries ;) I felt very bad that I didn't have enough f1s to give ya any. But have no fear Zen heh heh you are on "the list" to get some of these asap! :p

I know you got to smoke some of this MoHo, did it have that Cherry Vanilla thing goin' on?

Thanx mang, dayum I just went in there and checked them out and they be *almost* done, should be Sunday or so; and here's the good news...

Goin' to pee in front of the doctor early this morning :D

A friend of mine sent me this stuff from CN, Magnum something or other, a flusher for any future peeing issues LoL, this guy is a daily heavy med smoker, HASH, and he passes the tests everytime with this stuff. I sure don't need any for this one man, holy hell, 6 weeks and no smoke; I feel almost insane hahahah!

It definitely had a cherry candy/sugary type smell and flavor (as opposed to actual cherries, the fruit) on top of the vanilla flavors from the Matanuska Thunderfuck. Yep.

Not sickening vanilla though like I've heard you describe your MTF cut, may she rest in peace. :(

Very much stupid weeds, IME. Made me absolutely retarded.

That's how the Blue Rhino 1947 starts out, but I soooo dig that "resetting your stone" thing it does about 20 minutes into it.

I haven't actually even tasted the Cherry Thunderfuck yet, but I got's my sampling bud all set to fly here like ...tomorrow I would say LoL! Got creamed by the BR1947 but, well my tolerence is mega-low so I would expect no less heh heh.

:pass:

Here's my sampler bud from the CTF... I like to take a bud from the middle of the plant to sample from, as the one below was taken from...
