O.K. Everyone, I have a question. But I guess I better explain what my setup is first.

I have a 2'x4' cabinet with a 400watt Switchable ballast.
I am using a TurboGarden, which is an Ebb & Flow Hydro setup for those of you not familiar with it. But regardless, It is an Ebb & Flow system.

I am like 3-4 weeks into flowering right now, I really forget. I know harvest is usually around 8 weeks. I go by the plant and not the weeks. This time I just forgot to keep track of when I went in to flowering. (had it in a journal but the site is gone now)

Anyhow, What I did is this:
Last night I changed my reservoir water. It holds 25 gallons. I have 2 airstones in the reservoir to help out with oxygenating the res. Well it was time for the flood to happen as I was changing the water so I turned it off and when I was done changing the res. I turned the timer on manually to run a cycle.

Well, when I went to check on the grow this afternoon the pump was still running on manual cycle. OOooops. So, the pump was on from like 11:00pm last night until about 2:00 today. A total of 15 hours.

The plants didn't look bad at all when I opened the doors but should I expect to see something bad happen over the next couple days?

I don't think I should have anything to worry about but I figured I would stick this up for any other opinions. In my last hydro setup all I had was a bucket of res. water and an airstone to oxygenate the water. It grew very well. So, I don't think that 15 hours of continuous oxygenated res. water will do any damage.

Anyone else done this before with Ebb & Flow?

Well I guess it didn't hurt anything because I didn't see any changes in the plant.

So........

I guess we don't have meny Ebb & Flow peeps in here huh....

Ebb & Flood or Drain to waist are excelent ways to grow in the hydroponic setting. I love using this style of growing and find it is simple and produces great results for a low over head ig set up and matience both time, equipment & prices.

I can't think of any reason why you would worry about running the pump for a longer time. I can't see anything going wrong as a result. My only concern is 2 air stones in a 25 galon res, what size air stones and pumps? May wont or need to add more for better aeration.

Either way, good luck with the grow..Hydroponics and Ghettoponics are so much fun!

Yea Bro I am beginning to like the Ebb & Flow growing. I can grow a nice SOG in my lil' 2'x4' cab, open the door and just a solid layer of buds. I love it. As for cheap setup, Well I'm not so sure of that. I have the TurboGarden, it was the only big thing I could find to fit my cab. By the time it was all said and done I had about $300 in it. Now before I grew with this I was using homemade bubbler buckets. I did spend a lot of time in the construction of them to make them look really professional but I still seen them as Ghetto. They grew awesome and that is what convinced me to go with a bigger system.

As for the 2 airstones. The system doesn't come with any nor suggest using any. I guess it gets it's oxygen from the splash as it falls back into the res. Well I figure you can never have too much O2 so I added the pump and 2 airstones to insure there was some good O2 in there. Plus it keeps the res. stirred up while it is sitting in hopes of not letting the stuff settle out. I don't know if it is any help but it helps out in my head....... :p

One thing I think I am doing wrong is growing multiple strains in this setup. I can't adjust my nutes to each plant which I think can be a little of the problem I am having trying to grow 1 of the strains I have. The other 2 are doing good but I think on my next grow I will have only 1 strain in the setup.

Hey greenthumb as u already notised it will not harm your plants at all to have it running 24/7, aslong you got oxygen added to your water your home safe.

The only difference there is, is the root's get less oxygen then they are used to as theres not been any draind periods. This could over a long period stun the growth a bit, but again if theres enough oxygen in the water it should not have much to say at all. Ebb and Flow should be a bit faster then DWC but I have not been able to see much difference, I found the Ebb and flow have the disadvanges that the drain can clog up or the pump might fail compared t DCW where u only use a Airpump. (But that u can say about every system, so good suplyes and a good setup is importent)

Good luc with it Green T and let's see some pic's of ya nice setup mate
