Anyone know anything about the effects of ionized air on MJ plants? Will having something like an "Ionic Breeze" around your plants harm them?

I'm pretty sure the whole system behind the "ionic" breeze is the "ions" pulling the air. yanno, something like that.
Plain old air though, it just doesnt use fans. And.. Well, i used to have one. And after a week or so of use the filters would be filthy. Mine worked. :P

I've read in several grow books, (Ed rosenthals, and greg greens) that ionized air near the plants can remove some of the smell by ionizing the tannins in the pot.

So I guess the Ozone that an Ionic breeze (or similar ionizer) produces isn't harmful nor beneficial? Except that it might remove some of the dank stank from the air?

The ionic breeze doesn't create ozone. They do have a small fan. The idea is that the air gets passed through the contraption and the charged plates within it act as a magnet to airborn particles. The particles stick to the plates and the newly cleansed air is redistributed out via the fan.
I had one setup in my room for a while & was skeptical as to how effective it really was. The problem with them is that in order for it to work all of the air in the room has to pass through this little filter. Use it knowing that it won't reduce your odour that much.
