No one will ever be able to tell you what strain it is by looking no matter how far along the growth stage it is. From the first leaves I'd say it's of Sativa species though.

Now, if you want them to grow any more I'd seperate them cause the roots will get intertwined. They are also stretching on you. Get them closer to the light source so they're not all spindly and cannot support themselves.

Welcome to HGB Viejo!
Nah... no way ta tell which type you have there.
As RedEye has mentioned, please get on those transplants ASAP! And get em closer to the light jus a lil so they won't stretch as bad.
What kinda lights ya got anyway Viejo?

And since this is basically a Grow Journal I'm gunna go ahead and slide this into a new home in the GJ Forum section.

Welcome Viejo, so tell us your grow plan/setup. Where did you get the seeds? Was it good weed?

I transplanted them into serperate cups this afternoon. The roots were long , so I guess it was time to serperate them. At the end of the month I'll actually drop them in some regular pots.

I relocated the plants. it was mainly in the shade most of the time. I use the sun. Should I limit how much sun light they get or give it all it can take?

The weed was old, it gave my buddy a good buzz. The seeds were in the nuggets when my friend broke it up to smoke it. Reason why i decided to grow it. I thought it would make for a good learning experience before i move over to something better or advance the growing procedure. So its not really important what strand it is, just would of been nice to know.

thanks for the welcome.

I'm in pretty much the same place as you bro. This is my first growing experience and I used some decent bagseed. I'll get some experience with this stuff and then move on to some expensive beans. Fortunately for me, my wife is a serious flower gardener and I've picked up a lot of plant and growing info and experience from being forced... :flog: er... I mean, from helping her. :teef:

Don't be shy to ask questions, everyone here has been a great help to me!

welcome to hgb. it doesnt matter what strain it is as long as it grows some smoke right? i think its a great idea to use your bagseed for a first grow - it would suck to pay 10-100 bucks and then your plants die because you have no experience.

I don't smoke

my best friend can't wait though. I really want to learn how to get this done right. For some reason it's a whole lot more exciting then growing daisys.

They've been getting strong since i switched them over to thier own cups. I think all the sun is doing them good. The one on the bottom of the picture seem to be able to stand alone while the other is a little long that it leans a little to much,

overall they are growing strong and seem to to be very happy since the change and the new soil.

edit:added another picture to show the growth. To this date it's been 3 weeks.
