Hello all, recently I had to move my plants from their original room to a more discrete room for reasons I had to watch my ass

The temp/humid. in the old room was about 82 degrees F/40% relative humidity

The temp/humid in the new place is about 73 degrees F/ 65-70% humidity

The plants' leaves have started to "wilt" a bit since they were moved and I was wondering if it has anything to do with the temp. drop / increased humidity?

Also, I recently gave them an increased dose of fert with a bunch of water so I thought maybe this had something to do with it as well.

I'm going to wait a few days and see what happens ;)

yeah I know man :(
They used to be in my closet but had to move them to the crawlspace underneath the house

Just 4 walls and concrete down there so its cool and damp

Hope I dont get no mold cuz I cant afford a dehumidifier

you bro.. dehumidifiers arent all that expencive, you can also just use an air conditioner, they'll dehumidify also..check out craigslist.com, get one used..Ive seen dehumidifiers and A/C's for as low as 30-40 dollars, im sure you can fork out that amount of money!

cheers!

well like I said its a crawl space so its low ceiling (like 2 1/2 - 3 feet approx.) but its very large space (underneath the house)

Cant have fans anymore cuz it will overload my circuit with the light on, but i can open small windows to create a draft and have some air flow

Yeah its a pretty shitty area but hell what can ya do? :(

sounds like security is an issue .....

dont think i would just open windows for vent's in this case but seems there really no other to vent....

can you tap into a pvc vent that goes out the roof of the house some how and use some sort of fan?

CB - the windows are pretty small and are almost ground level so I wasn't too worried about that

The reason they had to be moved from the closet is because there are kids staying here (summertime ) with family to visit and crap and I dont feel comfortable with young children seeing something like that

Looks as if I'm going to have to buy a dehumidifier...

The crawlspace is dark and damp, the only time its light in there if when the gro light is on. So I suppose this makes perfect conditions for mold.... and spiders

About what % humidity am I trying to shoot for? Right now we are looking at 65-70%.

Nope can't really vent where they are at

I have a 12" fan going in there with an extension cord so I think I will buy a small dehumidifer and run it thru the extention and hope it does the trick

say Dooby,

love ya style of grow'n.....never give up :D

ground level window was what i was think'n....worst place to vent smells like ;)

if thats not an issue then i would open 2... 1 with your fan pointing out a window for exhaust and the other for intake

pretty sure Rh will go done once ya do this ;)
