question about Co2?
I have a room dedicated for growing. I'ts about 10x15ft and is split in half one for vegitative and the other flowering.
Two 6 inch vortex fans are attached to the windows they are blowing air out of the grow room to the outside. this means the grow room
is getting all of its fresh air from the living room..offcourse the door is always open.
As for my question, if i get Co2 connect to my 1000$ brain (which is now a 1000$ door stoper at the moment) wont all if the Co2
just get blown outside allong with all the other air that passes though? I mean those two 6 inch vortex fans are no joke they can realy shove
a lot of air though a room quickly..How can the plants possible absorb the Co2 with all that turbulance going on??
thnx for the help!

Well HH, I see you have many questions. Which is great! That means you are trying to learn so you do the best for your plants.
Anyhow. Like Cranky said the fans need to be turned off. Now this is all coming from my mind and I haven't researched this for quite some time so don't quote me nor live by it without researching it more yourself.
When using CO2 you need to cycle it so many times a day. When you cycle it you need to bring it to a certain level of ppm ( I don't know what) for so long, like 15-30 minutes. During that cycle your lights need to be on, don't cycle during lights off, and the vents that pull the CO2 out need turned off. If you have vents on your lights keep them on if not you need to watch your room temps and make sure they don't get too high. The plants can withstand alot higher temps when they are under CO2 cycles, why I don't know but that is what I understand.
I hope this helps a little bro....

Is Co2 supposed to be dispursed during the flowering stage or vegative stage? Or both stages?

dude,
in order for it to grow it has to have a a growth tip, which it dont so I think your the proud parent of a stem with roots, lol.
As for the CO2 i think it is best suited for the the flowering stage and only when the lights are on.

Hey, that is one sweet looking setup you've got! Clean & spacious. Good work.

Hey bro, I seen that stem and laughed my ass off. I wouldn't think it would grow anything because it has no way to photosynthesize, but hey, see what happens bro. I am interested to see what happens.
As for the CO2, I think it is more for flowering too but hell I don't know. I guess it would help growth in veg too. There are some CO2 pages out there on google bro, more suited for other greenhouse growing but you'll get the idea.
Good looking grow room bro....
