:) Ive been noticing that this sites rep program doesnt have the "you must spread your rep around before giving to XX again"enabled.Thanx to admins for disabling this as that really was a pain in the ass.you should be able to rep who you want when you want as much as you want as long as you cant rep yourself. :)
it is enabled but just with lower settings;)

how come when you look at your rep in usercp some of those cubes are green and some are grey?

The green ones actually have points behind them.
The gray blocks are a donation but have no weight.
In other words, the green ones count:lol:

I dont understand the difference. I only have one option when i give rep "i approve", how did you give me a grey one?

the grey ones arn't negative because we can't leave neg rep. Nor should we be able to:)
The grey blob was when I hit you with rep but it wasen't worth anything. I think admin has tweaked the system a bit so now it DOES count.

Ill still dont understand how to change from giving a green to a grey, I only see one thing to givewhen giving rep:confused , but admin changed it as you say, so it doesnt matter anymore as they are all the same :smoke1::eat: :D

The rep system is set up on post count, until you reach the set post count you will be shooting blanks[gray dots] Once you reach the set post count then you will be able to give countable rep points [green dots].Im not sure what that post count number is before you can give real points but i'll find out and post them numbers.
The number of post required to give positive rep is 50
I only have one option when i give rep "i approve",
you dont have an i dont approve option?

same as myself...there is only an approve button.....but as was mentioned earlier.....why would you want to give negative to someone?? i like to give approval.....not take away or give negative effects ;)
the negative rep option is not enabled here:D
the staff might see the option but it doesnt work
midwest didnt know about this at the time and thought everyone could see it

that's a fantastic attitude.
:D
i think that it's a good idea to not be able to leave bad rep, as there will inevitably be a time when sombody joins and just wants to be a destructive little troll.
it could be dangerous........:(
