love a good book, always looking for recommendations although books, like any artform are very subject to personal preference. I like modern fiction and some non-fiction.
The last good book I read was "how mumbo jumbo conquered the world" by Francis Ween its about how in the last thirty years or so we have abandoned reason and put our faith in half baked philosophies. Great stuff although a bit difficult to get into.

At the moment I'm reading a newish fiction "Saturday" by Ian McEwan.

Best thing read in the last year was "the great shark hunt" by Hunter S Thompson.

Love to read, Just don't do it as often as I used to or as I'd like to do.

I think one day It will be a more important hobby; but for now I hardly read anything at all.

I've been getting through a few pages here and here of a book called: What Do You Care What Other People Think ?: Further Adventures of a Curious Character by Richard Feynmen. Mostly because he is a Physicist, and I want to see what he's got to say. ;)

Something tells me there are a few more people on the boards who get into a good book.

Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut

Galapagos is an evolutionary journey through time, the story takes place over a million years, as a group of unlikely passengers get lost on a ship that crashes into the Galapagos islands. The story is told by a ghost who died aboard the ship, who shows the reader that evolution is not survival of the fittest but just a game of chance.
