I've been running a test a very simple one

I check all my plants just below the tops a node or two and look at the spurs

some have them like this /\ some X

ALL my X's are FEMS and ALL /\ are males?

testing this on 3 Cherry Thai's right now #1 X #2 X and #3 /\ just to see
I think the top 2 should be fems ...... all 3 @ 12 days old now and waiting to see

That's really neat observation Fing hope it IS this easy so I'll be able to figure out the sex when the time comes ;)

Like to hear what other people have to say about this :D

I tried and wasn't able to tell that way. Hopefully, you will have better luck than I did.

just went and checked my girls some are how you say are for your girls some are what you say should be boys but maybe it depends on the strain one strain may have an x for a boy while anouther strain the x is female maybe a test on a dozan strains would work better to see if its depends on strain or not

I can only see it on the top 2-3 nodes

Heh heh.....

You will find this is not 100% accurate (wasn't for us anyways) but often as you say it works out that way. Long ago we shy'd away from doing this method outdoors cuz a few would fool us, and guerillas HATE unplanned pregnancies heh heh.

But yeah it's a sign that's fairly accurate, but you will find some strains/hybrids do not obey those rules at all. Hell I assumed all you guys knew about this already heh heh, a more accurate method at 30 days from seed is to look closely at the apical stem right around the 4th - 5th node or lower mebbe, normally for about 1 week at 30 days of age you will get a "window" where she will toss out just one or two preflowers, then they go away often to re-appear later down the road as the same sex that was seen on the apical stemm flowers.
