Cheers Bro,

I couldn't be bothered to clean the paint off it any more, I thought this is only a test so stuff it, it'll have to do :D

So far so good anyways, the roots are growing for sure ;)

peace,

Hope your cardboard box lasts thru the grow and doesn't get soggy.

so what happens? Water gets pumped from the tub onto the higher part of the tray, rolls down, and repeats? The rockwool just soaks it up?

I think you made a pretty cool whosawhatsit bald1. How often is the water running?

Nice and simle... I like it.

How often do you have to fill the reservoir?

Hey Gorilla,

Till the roots are showing you only put the pump on when the rockwool dries a little, but as soon as the roots are growing from the cube you leave the pump on 24/7 ;)

And yes you described how it works perfectly :bong:

Hey Old Timer,

At the moment she's drinking just over 2ltrs a day, so thats how much I'm putting in each night to make sure she doesn't run out :)

She is huge and taking over my flower room as I type lol

peace,

Considering this was just a home made system for a test, it's ended up being my largest indoor grow so far, and I lost so much bud to light burn it would've been even more than that hahahaha

Just over 4.5oz dry, for my small assed setup that was huge :D

I got pics if anyone is interested ;)

good one dude. it'd be cool to compare that to bubbler/bucket/hydrostone method, given there ease.

That's a great looking NFT unit man! How do you fill the rez? Is it through a hole under the square piece next to the plant?

That's one of the nicest NFT home built units I've ever seen!

Hey Rocky Nug,

Yes I was filling the res throught that lift off square piece at first, but after a while I cut the box around the res in half so I could just remove the front section for easy access to everything ;)

You might show a gain from 1 minute on, 4 minutes off. There are a few non adjustable NFT timers out there with this timing.

Cool that you just whipped that up and it works:gthumb: .
