Super Blue Green Algie is a type of algie like Spiralina Algie, it is sold in health food stores in powder or compressed tablets, it is a organic supplement people take that has many trace elements.
PS, I got the idea to try feeding my plants this after reading the ingreadients on a bottle of "Humbolt County Gold" Plant Food, in which the main ingredient is Kelp (I think) which is seaweed plus from my experience of growing Orchids I know of some Japanese Orchid growers that will wrap a piece of seaweed in with an orchid plant root ball before potting it to give it a slow release food that is natural, so I just thought that I would try SBG Algie on my plants as a food supplement because it is so wonderful as a supplement for people.

I have heard a few things about blue-green algae. There are many kinds. They live many places. They can gather nutrients from the air. Different types can utilize different materials. One kind, found in the ocean, can gather bicarbonate. They are also called cyanobacteria. and also called chloroplasts.

They manipulate light.

Lichen (the first colonizers seen in lava flow areas) must capture one as a symbiont in order to live and progress beyond their first few days.

I wonder if they can be used as a complete fertilizer source.

and i wonder about the usefulness of their DNA for biotech..
