What kinda camera do you use for pics?

Hey all just starting a thread wondering who all uses what to take all their delicious pics of their buds! :D

For my part, I have two cameras.

Coolpix 4600 - I think this camera can produce great pictures, but I can't get them. I have to admit I lost the manual before I read it. :rolleyes:

Canon PowerShot S2 IS. - This camera seems to have much more potential. I just got it and this time I'm reading the manual. I've learned a lot already and my pictures have benefitted, on both camera!

Hey Dooby420,

I'll give you a few tips,

When looking for a new digital camera, it's all about the lens in my opinion. Unless you want to print pictures over lets say A4 size, then over 3 million pixills will be a waste of money if you ask me. Look for features such as optical zoom and things like macro and even super macro for even closer close up shots. Forget digital zoom, don't even take that into consideration because the quality just isn't there, your better off using an editing program later.

I use a Kodac easyshare with various home made lenses to get my close up pictures, look's kinda freaky but works pretty well :)
