I don't know if it will add more to the yield but it will surely contribute to larger, juicier tops.

heres a pic of each 1 trimmed at 4 weeks old and 1 untrimmed at 4 weeks notice how the trimmed 1 is already bigger it is almost the size of the untrimmed one at harvest and still has 5 weeks to go

heres the trimmed one i hope the first 1 is of a untrimmed plant at 4 week and a untrimmed plant that was just cut yesterday notice how the trimmed plant at 4 weeks is just as big around as the 1 that was just harvested at 9 weeks hopefuly the trimmed will yeild more

It's more about focusing energy to different parts of the plant, it doesn't have to feed small buds or keep other stem/leaf alive, I've done both also and it didn't really equal more than a couple of grams give or take but the joy is in the large nugs and the ease of trimming.

yeah but if it gives only 2 grams more per plant then 50 plants add upto 100 grams more this is more of a trail to see if it yeilds more or less thats why i got sister clones that are the same age 1 pruned and the other not :share:

when were they pruend???in flower or in veg??i do it just before 12/12 and maybe a few days into it...dont take to much off in one go though as ya can stress the plant out to much.

laso all depends on how the plants been grown...eg topped or lst etc.

were pruned just as they went into the flowering room most a few were 1 week into flower they are being grown with-out topping or training of any kind that way i can pack close to 60 plant's in my 15 square foot of floor space

here a pic of sister clones the only differance is the bigger bud on the trimmed plant the other plant in the pic does not compare in size so far but will know in about 3 to 5 days how much differance there is in weight
