best i can explain it:think of a glass bowl with a much larger bowlhead, except the "space" inside the pipe has alot more area for smoke to build up. then the carb hole is huge so u get a pretty big ass hit 2thumbs

another thing about steams is that they dont get clogged up as fast as a pocket sized glass/metal bowl. :D

hope this helps it is a really vague explanation though.

I live my steam roller. you can hit it and hit it like crazy. real easy to clean too. if someone was here I'd put a picture up, but no one is home but me right now.

My steam doesn't have a huge bowl head so i dont even put a screen in it ;)
but they are one of the most simplest pieces to clean, the only thing ive found is that it torches ur bud a bit quicker than a regular bowl :rolleyes:

I add kief and bubble hash a lot so a screen comes in handy. but if it's a b j day, no screen is necessary for fun. mrs wakka wants me to buy a bigger one at this place called captain eddies in van nuys. but it's eighty bucks, and that money could easily find a place for much better use...

captain eddies has the most amazing glass. he has a one hitter that weighs in at just about a pound. sits right in the middle of your hand. it's almost solid glass, like a paper wight.

gotta vasriation on the steamroller....

take yer average 2-foot long 2" round postal malling tube....the kind with the removable ends..........??

and punch a small hole in the side just big enough to be able to slip a shortbowl stem in......
take off one end but leave the over end covered with the sliding end cover and then spark the bowl. As yer pullin on the bowl do the same with the slidin end.....
that is until ithe end comes completely off, the effect is the same on yer head.....;) ;) :cya:
