Today is end of wk 3 flowering and one of my blueberries (been topped in veg) has got a bud branch that is racing up about 7 inches higher than the others. I'm thinking about reducing it because I am trying to keep my lights as close to the grow as possible. Should I chop it or not?

looks like ya main shoot to me mate.can ya bend it over?little by little day by day kinda thing.or get a pair of plyers and apply some pressure to the stem at the point you want it to bend over.do this a few times,it should soften up the stem abit allowing you to bed the plant over...

its basically supper cropping mate.it will make them lower ones shoot up whilst keeping that main cola;)

i think thats what pork chop is doing to 1 of his sk 1's;)

Deeds done now, stem was about 1/2" thick and hollow so there was no bending over. It folded ok and I expect a big knuckle joint there over the next few days hopefully.

More like a forest in there now.

Checked it half an hour ago and that sucker has allready cranked it's head about 120 degrees back to the light, so I know I'm gonna get an arthritic sized knuckle joint there now.

Ahhhh That makes me happy!

Can't wait to see the spurt in bud growth now, last week or so I've noticed the blueberries haven't quite kept up with the sk no1 and bubbleicous. Reading Dutch passions blurb sheet on blueberry it says:

" In the first three weeks of flowering the Blue Family strains grow slower compaired to other strains. After the third week of flowering they will catch up and give a beautiful harvest"

Happy Days :) :) :)
