the one that had 3 leaves per node has whent back to the normal 2 leaves per node they are all starting to smell most are almost as big as my 2 strawbeery cough seedling the shorter ones but are close to 3 weeks younger the ak's defanutly show hybrid vigor they are the biggest of any of the 4 other strains i started at the same time

the soil i use for all my plants is a mix of pro-mix preimer with worm castings added plus black potting soil added and pearlite i also add hydrated lime as i mix the soil as this stabilizes the ph. i use mainly fox farms nutes i have every kind except bush doctor then on the times i don't use fox farms i use b.c. nutes which is mainly for the veg cycle i think b.c seems to make them preflower faster i've had some plants preflower at the 5th node when useing b.c nutes but the latest is the 10th node which seems to be more offten than not the sativa's
i'll add more info on nutes and growth enhancers and mycrobis i use when i got more time

the plant that had 3 leaves per node has show that she's a girl :grow: i've heard that plants like this get thicker buds

Hey bro.......

I've grown AK-48 quite a few times. Enough that I got burnt out on smoking it, I've prolly been thru a few pounds in the last couple years myself. My last couple grows I grew lightstorm and this last time I crossed it with AK-48 which is what I am growing now.

A few things I have found about the AK-48:
It is VERY smelly especially during late flowering.
It uses very little nutes compared to most plants.
It does extremely well in hydro, extremely well in bubbler buckets.
It takes to topping better than LST and works out real good with topping twice.
I also like the taste and buzz better if you harvest a little early.
It taste the best when you cure it for about 6 months. Trust me, save a jar!
Oh yea, the best grow I had with the AK-48 is when I used Fox Farms grow in veg then Fox Farm's Tiger Bllom and Bio Bizz's "TopMax" Bloom enhancer. I got some really thick ass buds. I used a bubbler for that grow and got damn there a pound off of 1 plant. I was more than impressed with it that grow.

Now hey..... Give us a rundown on the grow room size, lighting, heat/humidity conditions and all that good shit. Helps everyone know what is going on a lot better.

the room they will be flowering in until i upgrade my lezy is 5'3"x2'8"x4' with a 400 watt hortilux on a light rail then 4 135 watt clfs around the sides humidaty only gets 50% or higher when it rains hard for a few hours it's useuly 32% humidaty temp on right side of cab is 77.2 and the left is 76.8 then the switch as the light moves i have 2 20" inch box fans sitting outside the room blowing away from the cab 1 160 cfm fan blowing air in and a 80 cfm pushing the air out i know its backwards i should have the larger pushing the air out but i didn't get the 160 cfm fan until i got all the hardware for the new rooms the new veg room will be 5'3"x3'x6'10" and will have a 400 watt mh with the 4 135 watt for a total of 940 watts in the veg room the flowering room will be 5'3"x5'3"x6'10" with a 1000 watt hortilux with air coold hood and i have a 17,000 btu ac on stand-by just incase and co2 there will be a home-made carbon scrubber that filters all three rooms the 3rd room will be a drying room thats 3'x3'x4' all the rooms are done with the exseption of hanging the doors and hooking everything up i'm waiting till i get the upgrade on the power done before i hook the light's and ac up as i'm maxed out on power at the minute

this was a real dissapointment thin airy buds the smoke was ok but it's nothing to brag about maybe i just got duds there was 1 clone that looked like she was going to be a monster i put her to flower at 1' and she got 18" looked thick as hell till i trimmed her and most of what made her look thick was realy small leaves around for of these leaves per caylx to say dissappointed is an understatement i'll never buy these seeds again just shows how little nirvana knows about breeding

Nirvana seeds seems like they're worth the price, that's about it. ( They're cheap for who doesn't know. )

I wouldn't ever purchase them again either, Ice. Buds were of 'OK' quality.

hopeing my pure power plant and hawaiin have a good buzz but i see what your are saying nirvanas seed are good for beginers to learn with or people who are a little strapped for cash but if you want killer buds that are just plain huge i'd go with any of the seedbanks starting with s ie sensi ,serious, sagamatha, or soma not sure if there is any others but these are by far the best and all have been at it for awhile

u must of got a diff pheno or maybe had some lock out u were unaware of
nirvana unfortunately arent real consistant
so wen u find a good pheno clone it and grow it out a few times
ive grown the ppp from nirvana too
not a bad smoke but i didnt find anything worth keeping in the pack i grew
u should put some photos up of them
i wouldnt mind seeing the ak and definately want to see the hawaiian and ppp grow out
if u want big long buds try iss x bc kush from federation seeds
