strawberry cough

here is a pic of my strawberry cough seeds i planted they at first 5 i tried to germ only 2 grew out of 5 and so i germed the other 5 and got 2 more so for 65 dollars i got only 4 plants d.p. sucks as far as im concerend they will never get anouther dime from me i just hope at least 1 turns out to be a female the pic is a couple weeks old i'll post some picks of the plants as soon as i get a camera again here in a week or so

Hey ice#1 funny you should say that about DP I grew some of thier Blue velvet first off they only put 9 beans in the bag but all germed got 4 girls and 5 boys 50/50 thats about right anyway better luck next time maybe you should revise your germ method:)

i germed 65 seeds the first time with the strawbery cough 5 seeds from sensi 15 from kc brains and 40 from nirvana and 5 from dutch passions all the rest from the other breeders got 90% germ rate but only 40 from dutch passions i understand that not all strains have the same requirements for good growth some like a little higher ph while others not so much but when i sent dutch passions an e-mail which they have still yet to anwser my e-mail and its been 3 months i evan asked there person that is on there list of distributers that i bought the seeds from and after 2 months they had not heard from them either and when i asked what they the distributer would do either replace or refund they banned me till april of 2008 since i know all good seed breeders have a garuntee on how many will germ

yeah tell me about it from the seeds i've produced from crosses northern lights x ice otherwise known as northern ice i gett 100% every time as well with a radom cross when i just made a bunch of seeds crosses of northern lights ice big bud afghani i was and still am pissed at them becuase they can't or wont respond to e-mails and there distributer banned me for asking what they are going to do about it becuase they said they had a 100% satifiscation garuntee and i told them i was not satisfied

yeah cranky thats how i figure 1 strain should germ the same where as anouther strain may be differant as to what it needs i've never heard of 1 strain needing to be germed lets say if you have 2 packets that 1 needs to be germed this way while the other packet needs to be germed that way just don't make good sense
also on a side note the biggest strawberry is getting close to the size to show preflowers just anouther set or 2 of leaves and it should start to preflower i've never had one that didn't show preflowers by the 10th set of nodes most i've grown useuly show at the 5th to 8th node but there is that rare exseption

1 has started to preflower looks like a girl hope it is it smells of strawberries at only 1' foot tall

the one in the last pic turned out to be a female and i was able to get 4 clones off of her 1 was a razor mishap it slipped as i cut the main stem to get her back down in height and 1 of my other coughs is starting to preflower as well but to early to tell just yet as i've only seen the one preflower

found anout female preflower on anouther plant tonight so i've got 2 females so far and 2 unknown plants for $65. dollars if at least these 2 are kick ass i'd be happier hopeing the other 2 will be girls as well when i bought the seeds passions said they only had female seed but the company i purchased them through said they had regular unfemmed seed

heres a few updated pics

the soil i use for all my plants is a mix of pro-mix preimer with worm castings added plus black potting soil added and pearlite i also add hydrated lime as i mix the soil as this stabilizes the ph. i use mainly fox farms nutes i have every kind except bush doctor then on the times i don't use fox farms i use b.c. nutes which is mainly for the veg cycle i think b.c seems to make them preflower faster i've had some plants preflower at the 5th node when useing b.c nutes but the latest is the 10th node which seems to be more offten than not the sativa's
i'll add more info on nutes and growth enhancers and mycrobis i use when i got more time

all four are girls so more or less so far out of ten seeds 4 germed and the god of good karma watched over me and made sure all 4 were girls now i'm just hopeing that none turn hermy so i hope i get a good mother i'll be posting pics of them satureday or sunday 3 grow more sativa like long internodes but 1 is more indica so far getting ready to top the 3 younger ones in the next few days

the room they will be flowering in until i upgrade my lezy is 5'3"x2'8"x4' with a 400 watt hortilux on a light rail then 4 135 watt clfs around the sides humidaty only gets 50% or higher when it rains hard for a few hours it's useuly 32% humidaty temp on right side of cab is 77.2 and the left is 76.8 then the switch as the light moves i have 2 20" inch box fans sitting outside the room blowing away from the cab 1 160 cfm fan blowing air in and a 80 cfm pushing the air out i know its backwards i should have the larger pushing the air out but i didn't get the 160 cfm fan until i got all the hardware for the new rooms the new veg room will be 5'3"x3'x6'10" and will have a 400 watt mh with the 4 135 watt for a total of 940 watts in the veg room the flowering room will be 5'3"x5'3"x6'10" with a 1000 watt hortilux with air coold hood and i have a 17,000 btu ac on stand-by just incase and co2 there will be a home-made carbon scrubber that filters all three rooms the 3rd room will be a drying room thats 3'x3'x4' all the rooms are done with the exseption of hanging the doors and hooking everything up i'm waiting till i get the upgrade on the power done before i hook the light's and ac up as i'm maxed out on power at the minute

got 5 more clones from the biggest female lastnight 2 of the 4 i took the first time didn't make it so i added more perlite to the soil-mix to see if it helps them root better i'm at like 75% perlite now for the cuttings

here's 2 pics of 2 of my mother's the #2 is untopped as of yet she seems to be more indica than the other 3 cough girls i got i'm thinking of takeing all the lower shoots for clones then flower her with out being topped

for some reason these seem to be hard to root with-out getting damper-off killing them first the first set of clones i took all but 1 has died from this. this strain is for the more advanced growers she's very picky or it might be that i'm just use to the strains i've been growing for the last year

acording to dutch passions thats the way strawberry is saposs to grow with long flowing branches its mainly sativa

thats ok i was high when i posted it the pic of the other plant is almost as tall as the topped one but has 3 times as many nodes it looks more indica as long as it flowers well withh a good high i will keep the more indica one

this is the second best smoke i got from all the strain's i've grown so far smells of strawberries sometime but smoke is a very weird taste but good just hard to desribe a freind say's she taste like crack but i don't know about that for 1 she does taste kind of fruity just a wierd kind maybe rotted fruit but a giggly type of high the best smoke i've grown so far is skunk#1 from sensi has a giggly knock-out type of high girlfriend don't like skunk#1 thou as it gives her a headach the day after smokeing her
